We're Adam & Taryn, welcome to the Oasis!

We understand the challenges that families face on the journey to diagnosis. Whether that be self-diagnosis or professional diagnosis we get the challenges that come before, during and after.

We created this business and this website in the hopes that we can help other families. This journey can be overwhelming and it's easy to get lost in information and not know where to start or were to go next.

In our household we have 4 kids, 1 autistic & 3 AuADHD. Taryn is also AuADHD so we understand the ups and downs that going along with parenting neurodivergent kids as a neurodivergent parent and as a neurotypical parent! We are passionate about embracing and celebrating neurodivergence. With Taryn, a skilled counselor, we navigate life as a family, balancing the joys and challenges that come with neurodiversity.

We are a family that can't sit still... (are you surprised?!) we love riding motorbikes, horse riding, camping, music (both playing and listening to) and be creating through art and dance. You may be able to guess our special interests..

Having faced significant hurdles finding appropriate resources for our unique needs, we decided to create our own tools, designed to genuinely help families like ours thrive. We intimately understand the struggles of seeking diagnoses, navigating complex systems, and the emotional toll it can take on everyone involved.

Our mission is rooted in community and understanding, offering support, practical tools, and a celebration of the creativity and uniqueness that neurodivergence brings. Whether you're in the thick of the diagnostic journey or are looking to connect with a supportive network, Mental Oasis is a place to feel seen, supported, and empowered.
