We are Taryn & Adam, and we’re so excited to welcome you to Mental Oasis. A community built by us for neurodivergent families like ours.

Believe us when we say that we know this journey can feel overwhelming. With so much information out there, it's really easy to feel overwhelmed and to be honest, not really know where to start looking for information. We’ve been there, which is why we wanted to start this business. As parents to four AuDHD kids, and with Taryn being neurodivergent herself, we really do understand the ups, the downs, and everything in between.

Parenting neurodivergent children as both neurodivergent and neurotypical parents has given us a unique perspective. We’re passionate about embracing and celebrating neurodivergence and creating a world where all neurotypes are understood and supported. At Mental Oasis, we hope to offer more than just resources.. we want to create a community where families can thrive and feel truly seen and be truly supported.

Like many families, we’ve faced significant hurdles. From navigating the complex diagnostic processes to finding resources that fit our needs to navigating the NDIS, we constantly felt like we were fighting an uphill battle. No one understands the mental toll that it takes on you, unless you have been through it yourself.

It doesn't matter if you are starting or going through the diagnosis process, you are self diagnosed or you're looking for a community that gets it, this is the place for you. Mental Oasis is all about community, understanding, and celebrating the parts of us that makes us unique. 

We know it's not always easy, but we are right here with you. We want to make sure you don’t feel alone in your journey. Here you’ll find resources, tools, and a community ready to support you at every step & hopefully give you a few laughs along the way!
